STATUS/HOURS: W-2 Flex/On-call
PAY: $30.00-$45.00/hourly
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Armed Residential Security Agent provides security at a designated client’s residence(s). This agent will be responsible for the security of property and life, while continually providing real-time information about the environment within the residential area.
WORKING HOURS:
Will work 12-hour shifts with a schedule of 3 to 4 shifts per weekly pay period. Overtime will be earned based on the work in state.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform security and physical protection measures for high profile individuals and their families in their residence(s).
• Conduct ongoing, threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
• High contact and interaction with the client and their families.
• Provide a high level of professional customer service.
• Operate a motor vehicle in a safe and legal manner.
• Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• GED or High School Diploma, some college or a degree preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a position related to the essential functions.
• Must have a valid US State-issued driver’s license at hire and throughout employment.
• Must possess a valid US passport during the entire tenure of employment.
• Ability to multitask and organize workload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/MS 365.
• Licenses that are required to operate in the state the duties are performed in.
• Current California guard card and exposed firearms permit are required.
• CA CCW or HR-218 is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on an LED screen, laptop and/or other general office equipment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use cellular devices in an effective manner.
• Ability to be mobile as needed for an assignment which can include driving a vehicle, walking, and standing for prolonged periods.
• Will actively have need to listen, see, and speak with clarity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work may be performed inside of an office environment and/or private residence.
• Work may be performed outside in weather and elements on a very limited basis.
