Professional Galaxy is looking for a Acting Director – Fastighet & Facility Management Norden on behalf of our client.

Tasks & responsibilites

• Manage the Nordic Real Estate portfolio towards improved utilization, squaremeter footprint and sustainability performance.  

• Optimize the Nordic Real Estate Portfolio by matching business demand to available assets as well as sale of non-needed assets.

• Manage facility services delivery to Nordic region via established supplier contracts; drive commercial and qualitative performance of FM suppliers.  

• Manage the interface to internal and external tenants, landlords and service providers; serve as escalation level 

• Demand/Supply management for (internal) RE&FM customers in Nordics with  focus on standards and costs 

• Lead the RE&FM Nordic Management Team (MT)

• Role model company leadership expectations and company values (Open, Active, Positive, Safe) and ensure adherence throughout entire Nordic organization

• Represent RE&FM Nordic in the international RE&FM MT 

During the requested interim period, several change initiatives and projects are ongoing in the RE&FM Nordic organization. Amongst others: 

A new organizational structure has been launched and a new RE&FM Nordic MT has been appointed. This will require stabilization including in- and external stakeholder management. 

New FM supplier contracts have been awarded for the entire region Nordic. This requires a transition and stabilization phase throughout 2026.  
Multiple construction projects are progressing in different status. Senior oversight and steering towards success will be required.

The role also requires ensuring collaboration with RE&FM units on international level as well as other companys staff functions (e.g. Sustainability/Environment, IT, P&C and Finance).  
External stakeholders cover landlords, tenants as well as authorities connected to the Real Estate portfolio. FM services are to a large extent provided by external partners which represent important external stakeholders in the areas of conventional and technical facility service providers as well as specific service providers within areas such as security, restaurants, telephone switch, consultants, etc.

Experience and education:

• Relevant academic degree

• RE&FM  knowledge: broad experience in RE portfolio management, FM demand and supply management, advanced and modern workplace concepts and alike. 

• First hand experience in running organizational change and driving operational efficiency.

• Proven negotiation experience and skills as well as experience with different supplier contract models are considered an advantage

• Experience in leading teams and leading leaders

• Fluency in Swedish and English both written and oral is a must (German or Dutch are nice to have)
