About this role

What You'll Do



As an Integration Manager, you'll get the opportunity to manage a queue of Salesforce work orders to drive payroll integration projects with our clients and their payroll providers. Ensure timely, accurate, and secure integrations through file testing. Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and consultatively with clients, payroll providers, other external vendors, and our internal business partners, including client onboarding and client service team members. Demonstrate the aptitude to learn payroll processes and procedures and understand the cross functional impact of payroll on other retirement processes.

 

  • Manage a queue of work orders to drive new EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations between Principal’s recordkeeping systems and client payroll systems.
  • Provide maintenance, research and troubleshooting for existing EDI integrations.
  • Deliver concierge level customer service and effective change management practices to ensure a smooth and accurate setup.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to learn and effectively use internal systems and processes.
  • Be able to have conversations with clients, their payroll providers, and our internal business partners to deliver effective payroll solutions.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Who You Are



  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required, and 6+ years of related work experience.
  • Have working knowledge of business processes, financial service products and systems. Knowledge of retirement plans and products preferred.
  • Have advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be able to demonstrate competency & proficiency with advanced data manipulation & analysis with Microsoft Excel and other similar tools.
  • A good understanding of related accounting and record-keeping processes preferred.
  • Balance working independently with working in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.

Salary Range Information



Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)



$22.93 - $40.96 / hour

Time Off Program



Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
