We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Quality Assurance (QA) Technician who can contribute in the following activities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation, issuance & review of work orders, SOPs, logs and checklists.
- Initial and Final review of work orders.
- Review, correction and update of work orders with QC Documentation Team.
- Preparation and review of departmental SOPs.
- Issuance, review and maintain the change control and deviation reports with proper documentation.
- Reviewing, managing and helping to prepare Investigation Reports for market complaints.
- Schedule periodic SOP and awareness training of all shop floor employees and maintain training records
- Daily monitoring of shop floor to ensure compliance with documentation and SOPs.
- Daily monitoring of all IPQC activities for all manufacturing and warehouse areas.
- Work in shifts to handle QA activities in absence of any QA team member if required.
- Perform and monitor sampling of in process, stability and hold time study samples as per work orders and protocols.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documents, ensuring they are ready for customer and regulatory authority audits, and actively participating in the audit process to ensure passing the audit successfully.
- Follow and comply with the internal audit procedures defined as per the SOP.
- Monitor finished products to confirm compliance as per quality standard.
- Preparation and execution of new equipment installation and qualification records.
- Review and maintain all files of the records of internal and external calibration.
- Preparing and sending detailed weekly reports including suggestions for improvements.
- Time to time duties as assigned by management.
- Effectively communicate to CFT (cross functional team) for timely completion of activities and documentation.
- Attend meetings and ensure compliance with the identified action items.
- Follow health and safety guidelines in regular work processes.
- Involve and support in external audits.
Other Duties:
- Issuance, and retrieval of records and documents.
- Review of new and executed batch records and follow-up cross-functional department.
- Issuance of all QMS documents like Change control, deviation, CAPA, and updating in the tracker.
- Follow up on closing QMS elements, investigation reports, and review documents for completion, and close based on supporting documents.
- Updating the tracker sheet based on the batch record data.
- Preparation of trend analysis of QMS and based on the result CAPA to be identified for improvement.
- Maintain a master list of controlled documents and ensure their periodic review and updates.
- Tracking, activities completion as per frequency defined in SOPs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar role.
- University Degree (Post graduate degrees and Health Professional degrees are preferred)
- Basic knowledge in CFIA FSEP Manual and HACCP System preferred.
- In-depth understanding of quality systems
- Knowledge of Natural Health product formulation is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to identify compliance risks.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent scientific knowledge
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory documents such as Health Canada guidance documents to provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills, troubleshooting skills, time management skills.

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (based on relevant experience and skill sets)
