Job Description:

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights:

  • A weekly mix of clinic, OR, and call
  • Call shared within the group
  • Full compliment of surgical partners, advanced practice clinicians, and other orthopedic clinic specialists
  • Full scope practice with an emphasis in joints (knees and hips)

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of joint surgeries, including total joint replacements, arthroscopies, and reconstructive surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and diagnostic imaging, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for joint-related conditions.
  • Monitor and manage postoperative recovery, providing follow-up care and rehabilitation plans to facilitate a successful recovery and restore joint function.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and enhance recovery processes.

Additional Job Description:

MD/DO., board eligible or certified in Orthopedic Surgery. State of New Mexico Medical License.
