Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.
  • Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle.
  • Ability to read production tickets
  • Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of areas.
  • Assists with serving food items as indicated by established workflow
  • Must demonstrate competency in knife skills
  • Must demonstrate competency in food service safety practices and procedures, and temperature control
  • Assists with other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

One to three years' experience in high volume preparation and cooking of food in a hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, catering firm, government or private institution.
