The Respiratory Therapist RT I functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The RT I is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The RT I will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote excellent patient experience. The RT I is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.
