The Patient Escort complies with established policies, procedures, and standards regarding quality, customer satisfaction, positive work environment, and financial stewardship. The Patient Escort is responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Education: High school graduate or GED required.
Certification: CPR certification within 30 days from date in position.
Experience: One year of experience in medical/patient care environment strongly preferred.

Effective verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
Exemplary customer/employee relations
Highly motivated in teamwork, quality, and productivity
Knowledge of the various departments served
Proficient in the use of electronic medical records system and person computer
Capable of adapting to changing environment and making independent decisions to adjust priorities according to situational demand
Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift

What you'll do
- The Patient Escort provides transport services to patients and appropriately transports medications and lab specimens within the hospital. They are responsible for creating a positive impression of Premier Health by delivering friendly and responsive customer service.
