In this role, you’ll coordinate daily packaging operations, support a team of material packers, and ensure that every product leaving the floor meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and efficiency. ⭐ What You’ll Do
As the Packaging Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of packaging activities across your shift, including:
- Overseeing packaging workflow and supporting hourly and temporary team members
- Monitoring all jobs for defects, quality issues, and proper SOP compliance
- Verifying SAP materials and documentation accuracy
- Coordinating quality checks, hourly pulls, and QC testing
- Ensuring team members rotate positions at appropriate intervals
- Supporting fair and efficient scheduling, breaks, and overtime distribution
- Printing labels, maintaining pallet flags, and keeping clear communication across shifts
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and promoting continuous improvement
- Troubleshooting production issues and keeping operations on track
- Fostering teamwork, accountability, and a culture of urgency and excellence
🔧 What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail:
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or similar environment (preferred)
- Ability to coach, motivate, and build a positive team culture
- Strong communication during and between shift transitions
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
- Strong organizational and delegation skills
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
🏭 Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-moving production environment where:
- Temperatures may exceed 90°F
- Humidity may exceed 80%
- Noise levels may exceed 85 dB
- PPE is required
- Exposure to moving equipment is expected
