Keep our operations running smoothly!
Pregis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Arlington, TX. This role is essential to ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently and safely. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drive systems to keep operations running.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
- Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and service manuals.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and document work orders accurately in CMMS.
- Maintain communication with departments and report issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management for parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Pregis safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).
- Keep work areas clean and organized according to sanitation schedules.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warm, humid conditions.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
