Position: Lead Packer/Team Lead
đź“Ť Location: Arlington, TX
đź•’ Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts, overtime as needed)

Pregis is seeking a Team Lead to oversee packaging operations and guide a team of Packers across multiple production lines. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is ready to take on leadership responsibilities to ensure quality and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and direct Packers to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
- Monitor jobs for accuracy and defects; initiate corrective actions and hold procedures when needed.
- Ensure SOPs are followed and packaging components are correct for each job order.
- Maintain SAP inventory integrity and ensure finished goods are flagged correctly.
- Manage team rotations, breaks, and timecards for temporary workers.
- Communicate effectively during shift handoffs to minimize delays.
- Perform and document hourly inspections and audits (6S and SOP).
- Train team members on QA SOPs and conduct regular audits.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Operations to resolve issues quickly.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (Spanish bilingual a plus).
- Ability to read a ruler, scale, and micrometer; perform basic math.
- Flexible with scheduling and overtime.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
