Service Department Supervisor / Service Advisor
Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually (base salary + performance-based commission)
We are seeking an experienced Service Writer / Service Advisor to oversee daily operations within a high-volume automotive service department. This role combines hands-on service writing with leadership responsibility and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate a team of approximately five technicians
Write and manage repair orders, estimates, and approvals
Maintain steady workflow and prioritize jobs to meet production goals
Communicate effectively with internal partners regarding repair status
Monitor productivity, quality standards, and turnaround times
Support continuous improvement within the department
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Writer / Service Advisor
Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Automotive repair knowledge required
Comfortable in a production-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Primarily salaried position with supplemental commission
