The technologist ensures high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety, following all regulatory and departmental standards.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.</li> <li>Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures.</li> <li>Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.</li> <li>Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner.</li> <li>Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.</li> <li>Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following safety and allergy protocols.</li> <li>Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness before submission to radiologists.</li> <li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS/RIS systems.</li> <li>Provide excellent patient care and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.</li> <li>Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.</li> <li>Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licensure.<br><br> </li> </ul><div> <strong>Qualifications:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Education:</strong> Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.</li> <li> <strong>Licensure/Certification:</strong><ul> <li>ARRT (R) certification required.</li> <li>ARRT (CT) </li> <li>State Radiologic Technologist License</li> <li>Current BLS certification required.<br><br> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology; CT experience .<br><br> </li> </ul><div><em>Precision Scans is an equal opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
