Clinical Consultant: 

Precision Analytical (PA) is the creator of the DUTCH Test, an innovative hormone test that creates better tools for healthcare professionals to explore hormone issues with their patients. PA exists to make it easier for patients and their healthcare providers to find answers to complex clinical questions. We are fully committed to our mission of providing the best diagnostic tools in functional medicine.  

This is a remote position. Our main office is in McMinnville, Oregon. We do allow for out-of-state candidates who are in the states we currently have employees in. This includes Alabama, Arizonia, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Preference will be given to candidates located in Central or Eastern Time Zone states to support business operations and collaboration needs.

This is a part-time position working on average 16-25 hours weekly. 

Compensation & Benefits: 

At PA, we base our pay ranges on the market median of similar jobs, as determined by third-party salary benchmark surveys. The salary range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the salary range to provide room for growth. Your individual pay will vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.  Job Summary: 
This Clinical Consultant is primarily responsible for providing expert, research-based guidance to DUTCH providers about patient reports, questions about results, testing, etc. Clinical Consultants work within our clinical team to maintain and improve the highest level of customer experience and support company goals.

Major Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver impactful educational consultations to DUTCH providers via phone, web, and e-mail, including guidance DUTCH interpretation, best practices, general treatment considerations and application of DUTCH testing; direct providers to relevant internal resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing providers through regular engagements, educational resources and timely responses to clinical inquiries; act as a liaison between providers and internal teams to address clinical questions or concerns related to DUTCH testing
  • Review batches of completed DUTCH reports prior to release, with a high level of clinical attention paid to values, graphs and comments
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to enhance workflows, streamline processes and ensure excellence in client care; troubleshoot issues, research solutions, and support the clinical team
  • Occasionally support educational initiatives, by presenting introductory clinical content on hormone health and wellness topics, including webinars, group trainings, classes or blogs
  • Respond promptly to customer, team and company needs; communicate questions or concerns with the appropriate departments
  • Access and utilize internal databases for provider/patient information, ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA and data privacy requirements
  • Accurately document consultations, daily tasks and other required information using current platforms
  • Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

  • Perform other duties as needed to support team and company objectives


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Licensed healthcare practitioner (current and in good standing) with experience prescribing medications including hormones
  • Experience utilizing DUTCH testing with patients
  • Clinical knowledge and experience with female/male sex hormones and adrenal hormones including a variety of holistic, functional, and conventional treatment approaches
  • Availability and interest in working 16-25 hours per week
  • Comfort with computer technology and the ability to learn systems quickly; experience using virtual communications (Zoom, Teams, etc.); proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and professionally to varied audiences
  • Dependable and punctual; ability to work flexible hours to meet business and provider needs
  • Positive, collaborative attitude; champion for our people, values, culture, company and brand

Preferred Qualifications:

These qualifications are a plus, candidates without this experience are still encouraged to apply.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to represent DUTCH at conferences and educational events
  • Experience leading public or professional presentations

 

Work Environment: 

This position is located in an office/employee home office environment with frequent use of a computer and related hardware, and telephone or video communications. This role requires effective internet capabilities and quiet work environment, free of distractions.

A person must be able to stand and/or sit; see, hear and talk; use hands to type, handle or feel tools or controls; use hands and arms to reach. Occasionally lifting/moving up to 10lbs is also required. 

In addition, this position will occasionally require a person to travel via car, airplane, and other modes of transportation to various sites including Precision Analytical locations, training or meeting venues, conference, etc. This includes two onsite company events each year.
