Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, medical history, and allergy/asthma updates.</p> </li> <li> <p>Accurately documenting in Electronic Health Records (EHR).</p> </li> <li> <p>Assisting providers with clinical procedures and testing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Managing clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contributing to daily team flow, supporting both patients and fellow staff.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Review our MA Experience Level Rubric <a href="https://interpath.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&amp;action=download&amp;id=120302&amp;hashed=-129298629">here!</a></strong></p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>✅ </strong>High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)</p> <p>✅ Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program preferred</p> <p>✅ At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant&nbsp;</p> <p>✅&nbsp;Ability to&nbsp;multi-task and provide support to multiple providers</p> <p>✅&nbsp;Strong&nbsp;customer service skills and attention to detail</p> <p>✅&nbsp;BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)</p> <p>✅&nbsp;Experience with&nbsp;electronic medical records (EMR) preferred</p> <p><strong>About Our Company&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Praxis Health is a family of medical groups providing high-quality healthcare throughout the state of Oregon. Come see how healthcare is done right!</p> <p><strong>General Physical Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.</li> <li> <div>The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.</div> </li> <li> <div>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</div> </li> <li> <div>Work Environment:&nbsp;Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.</div> </li> </ul> <p><strong>OSHA Category</strong><br>This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues.
