This self-driven position is responsible for centralized inbound and outbound Primary Care phone calls. The centralized scheduling department is the single scheduling point of contact for all of Praxis Health, Pacific Medical Group Clinics. Standard Work Schedule:  Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Essential Job Functions: <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Consecutively and accurately fills open appointment slots, in order to maximize provider schedules. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Schedule appointments according to accurate appointment reason codes and provider-specific rules. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Collect and/or confirm patient demographics and insurance details. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Routinely work recalls and waitlists to keep provider’s schedules full and patients optimally scheduled.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Proactively monitor provider’s schedules for accurate scheduling adherence.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Adheres to the company’s phone handling competencies. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Schedule appointments according to payer measures and government program requirements, in order to maintain an emphasis on patient outcomes. </li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Monitors and responds to internal communications, including but not limited to tasks, emails, phone calls, instant messages, and newsletters (as applicable).</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Understands the importance and complies with our patient experience objectives.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Understand and adheres to HIPAA, HITECH and Medicare compliance, policies, procedures and regulations.</li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Performs other work related duties as assigned.</li> </ul>   </div> </div> <div>We are excited to share with you a short video that shows why the Praxis Health family is so special.
