Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Central Control Room (CCR) Technician for the CCR located in Deer Park, TX. The CCR Technician will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of multiple plants throughout the region. The technician will remotely monitor and operate the facilities from the central control room.
Scope:
The CCR Technician will be the primary board operator for several plants. They will be accountable for ensuring plants are run optimally and responding to all process upsets / alarms accordingly. Strong communication skills are essential as the technician will work with local plant technicians, lead techs, engineers, and management daily. Day-to-day tasks include tracking trends for anomalies, checking all processes of the plants, adjusting plant settings to drive productivity, starting/shutting down equipment as needed, and communicating any changes made to the plants. This role is on a 12-hour swing shift (7 ON / 7 OFF schedule).
