Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:

Sales representatives will work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals, etc. Sometimes, sales representatives will focus on inside sales, which typically involves "cold calling" for new clients while in an office setting, or outside sales, which involves visiting clients in the field with new or existing clients. 

 

  • Liaison between Pratt recycling plant locations and Pratt Recycling Sales Manager
  • Resolve issues as they arise with Customers and Plant Managers
  • Ability to accurately communicate equipment issues, account coordination and customer expectations 
  • Communicates with Plant Manager and Sales Manager with challenges or processes of customer
  • Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in packaging, accounting or finance or business is a plus
  • Must have 1 years of experience in a recycling/sustainable sales role 
  • Must have a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to travel when deemed necessary, there will be some travel in this role
  • Must be able to travel weekly throughout region
  • Prefer Office Suite experience at intermediate level or above
  • Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  •   Professional Attitude & conduct.
  •   Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed. 
  •   High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
  •   Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
  •   Travel and work away from home when and if required.
  •   Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
  •   Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
