WE LOVE OUR WORK.

This position is responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining the parts and machine inventory for Prairie State Gaming (PSG) route offices and locations. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

  • Order necessary parts for gaming equipment
  • Track inventory of all equipment throughout the state
  • Reconcile all parts at the end of each month
  • Create an inventory of used parts from decommissioned games
  • Oversee the return and refurbishment of damaged or nonworking parts
  • Learn and utilize the Mercury system
  • Create and maintain an inventory of all coin-operated equipment
  • Adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
  • Projects a positive image of the company at all times
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • This position requires driving a company vehicle
  • All other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum of 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational stills
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.)
  • PC proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to accurately prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Experience within VGT industry is a plus
  • Wiring, network, and troubleshooting experience is a plus

 

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS   

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.  

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other team members of the organization. Must possess a pleasant outgoing personality and portray a professional temperament for dealing with varied internal and external guest situations.  

 

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.  

 

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn Entertainment’s auto insurance carrier.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires some travel. Good working conditions with some exposure to noise and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to work independently.
