WHO We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a high-performing, dependable Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is confident working both front office and clinical operations. This role requires someone who is organized, patient-focused, clinically competent, and able to switch gears seamlessly throughout the day.
This is not an entry-level role — we are looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and consistently delivers high-quality patient care.
OUTCOMES (What Success Looks Like in This Role)
Within the first 90 days, you will:
- Confidently manage front-office patient flow with minimal supervision
- Accurately perform clinical MA duties in accordance with protocols
- Support providers efficiently during procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Contribute to a positive patient experience from check-in to discharge
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Office Duties
- Check patients in and out efficiently and professionally
- Verify insurance, understand coverage basics, and collect copays
- Manage patient intake forms and demographic updates
- Provide clear communication and set expectations for patients
- Schedule Patients for procedures ordered by providers
Clinical / Back Office Duties
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs
- Collect UDS specimens in compliance with chain-of-custody protocols
- Administer IM injections per provider orders and clinical guidelines
- Perform general clinical intake and room patients appropriately
- Support day-to-day clinical operations and provider workflow
- Understand Sanitizing protocols
Procedure Medical Assistant Duties
- Complete pre-procedure intake and preparation
- Start IVs as ordered
- Accurately scribe procedures in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Monitor patients post-procedure, including those under sedation
- Safely discharge patients and provide post-procedure instructions
- Ensure post-procedure documentation is complete and timely
- Understanding sterility and sterilization

REQUIREMENTS
- Medical Assistant certification
- Previous experience in a medical office required
- Procedure experience and IV skills strongly preferred
- Comfortable working both front and back office
- Ability to work flexible schedules (5×8s or 4×10s)
- Flexible and open to covering shifts at other locations to support clinic operations
