Responsibilities

Perform manual QA testing of new and existing features for Poshmark’s mobile applications (iOS & Android), Web application, and Cloud platform
Execute end-to-end, functional, regression, and performance testing
Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements and user stories
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA preferred)

  • Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and work closely with Engineering and Product teams for resolution

  • Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are closed with proper verification

  • Review functional requirements and design documents to ensure complete test coverage

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases

  • Support multiple projects simultaneously across platforms

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices

6-Month Accomplishments

Independently create and execute test cases and test scenarios

  • Actively participate in regression testing cycles

  • Identify and report high-quality bugs with clear reproduction steps

  • Gain strong understanding of product flows, systems, and QA processes

  • Effectively collaborate with developers and product managers

12-Month Accomplishments

  • Take ownership of testing for one or more features/modules

  • Improve and optimize existing test suites

  • Act as a strong QA contributor within projects

  • Assist in mentoring junior QA engineers (as needed)

  • Contribute ideas to improve QA workflows and test efficiency

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in software testing
Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android) and web applications
Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA preferred)

  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
