About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our growing team in Bogotá.

The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of related experience and a desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate.

This position will participate in projects within the Life Sciences, Industrial, Renewable Natural Gas, Sterilization, and Energy sectors, spanning different markets and geographies, providing opportunities to expand knowledge and strengthen design skills.

We are looking for a proactive, independent, and self-motivated individual.

Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or another related discipline from an accredited university.
  • More than 5 years of related experience, preferably in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) environment.
  • FE and/or PE license preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred).
  • Ability to perform design calculations.
  • Experience with valve sizing.
  • Strong understanding of control theory and the main types of control systems.
  • Knowledge of ladder logic programming and structured text (preferred).
  • Ability to review and mark up drawings or sketches from designers and engineers.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply logical or scientific principles to a wide range of practical and intellectual problems.
  • Ability to work in a team, positive attitude, ability to multitask, and motivation to deliver high-quality work.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time (the position may require occasional travel outside the U.S.; in such cases, a valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one is required).
  • Experience on internal projects is highly valued, along with a minimum English level of B2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference – CEFR).
