What is Specialist/Expert NOC Transport?
Specialist/Expert NOC Transport is responsible for Transport network monitoring covering Microwave, Optical, IP, Enterprise and FTTH Customers in 24*7 shifts.
The role reports directly to the Manager NOC Transport & Network Analytics with an extended team of 15 team members.
Key responsibilities & Deliverables
- Hands on experience on Huawei and Ericsson MW, OPTICAL & IP nodes.
- Escalating and follow up for early resolution of all persistent analytical problems including cross-domain analysis (RAN/TXN/IP/Core/Enterprise/FTTH) according to SLA.
- Data reconciliation & enrichment in development of TXN (MW+ optical)/IP reports (both existing/newly developed) via Tableau for analytical domain.
- Proactive Analysis/ good troubleshooting & analytical skills, i.e., perform detailed analysis for repetitive outages to find the root cause and support concern teams for the earlier resolution.
- Ensure Network L1 support to Nationwide operational field teams.
- Handling Nationwide Transport Network Change and Rollout activities.
- Highlighting and identifying network fault, follow up till closure.
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Specialist/Expert NOC Transport?
- 2-3 Years of experience, Holds BS Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics degree.
- Must have excellent Microsoft office skills, IP Certification i.e. CCNA, HCNA will be added advantage.
- Must have excellent communication skills and able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints and last but not the least, Candidate must be a good team player.
