Alongside delivering large-scale capital projects, we provide site-based Managed Services for capital project delivery to a growing number of clients across Ireland. Our teams deliver projects ranging from €100k to €15M, managing the full project lifecycle from concept to handover. We support a wide range of projects, from simple equipment replacements to complex building extensions, safely delivering works across buildings, cleanrooms, utilities, process installations and regulatory upgrades.

We currently have an opportunity for a Cost Manager to join one of our site-based Managed Services team in West Dublin.

This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with a blend of site-based and home working.

We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a busy environment and enjoys collaborating with a wide range of people across several internal disciplines and external suppliers. The role is multifaceted and covers, Project Controlling, Cost Management & Reporting and Financial Management. • Pre-Contract:

• Preparing capital cost estimates
• Producing lifecycle cost estimates
• Prepare pricing documents for tender packages

• Tendering:

• Commercial evaluation of trade partner submissions
• Negotiation with trade partners  

• Post-Contract:

• Valuing progress on site for interim payment certificates
• Management of Supplier Payments

• Project Service Hours Tracking including Spent, Planned and Forecast Hours
• Project Progress/Earned Value Measurement
• Project Services Delivery Change Control and Reporting
• Project Capital Expenditure Cost Reporting
• Project Risk Management including use of data modelling software
• Assistance in the preparation of Project Progress Reports
• Assessing commercial performance on Projects and reporting on same e.g. reporting on service revenue rates, cost rates, profit rates, forecast hours to go etc.
• Maintaining and reporting on Project Data Records during and at completion of Service Delivery
• Customer and PM Group Project Purchase Order Management
• Support Project Accruals and Debtors Management
• Project Cash flow preparation and management
• Support commercial preparation of our Project Bid/Tenders for Services
• Data Analytics to support Project Delivery and Control
• Resource Management and Utilisation
• Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the Site

• Quantity Surveying Degree qualification required
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a consultant environment, carrying out both pre and post-contract duties
• Proven track record of providing commercial and financial oversight on projects

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver accurate work to project deadlines
