What we're looking for:We're looking for a high-agency Founding Product Designer with 3-5+ years of experience, ideally from a top-tier, design-centric tech company like Airbnb, Linear, Vercel, or Stripe. You should be comfortable owning the entire design process from user research to pixel-perfect execution across multiple products simultaneously. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product work and a track record of shipping high-quality, consumer-grade interfaces in a fast-paced environment.What you'll do:Own the end-to-end design process across the Plato portfolio, from initial concept to shipped product.Take ownership of product strategy and user flows, making critical decisions on what to build and what to cut.Work closely with domain experts and engineers to translate rough ideas into clean, intuitive, and high-quality interfaces.Create wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs in Figma that are both beautiful and functional.Lead the development of a cohesive design system to be used across multiple portfolio companies.Interface directly with users to gather feedback and rapidly iterate on live products.
