Job DetailsJob Location: 615 - Zeeland, MI 49464Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st shiftJob Category: ManufacturingThe CNC Programmer I develops (3 & 4-axis) NC programs and NC programs utilizing CAD/CAM programs for profiling metallic and non-metallic structural core materials and sub-assemblies for various aircraft applications and panel applications.

Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

Create and or modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers. 
Analyze job orders, drawings, specifications, and design data to calculate tool selection and machining speeds and feed rates. 
Design and define machining fixtures. 
Prototype and ensure the quality of first article parts. 
Set-up and operate 3-axis and 4 axis machining centers. 
Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
Prepare work instructions and maintain accurate records. 
Assist with operator training programs. 
Facilitate CI process. 
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Three to five years progressively more responsible experience
Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school.
Programming experience with mills and/or routers is preferred. 
Strong attention to detail

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
