Reporting to the Director of Delivery Services, this role sits at the heart of the customer journey, translating customer business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions while reinforcing trust, adoption, and long-term value.</p> <p>This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, financial acumen, and consultative customer engagement. Successful Implementation Consultants operate as trusted advisors, balancing best practices with customer-specific needs, while partnering closely with internal teams to ensure delivery excellence, predictable outcomes, and customer satisfaction.</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of hands-on experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&amp;A, or related domains.</li> <li>Prior consulting or professional services experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.</li> <li>Experience implementing financial systems, EPM/FPM platforms, or complex business applications is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Strong consultative mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and product best practices.</li> <li>Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior-level customer executives.</li> <li>Comfortable delivering a thoughtful, professional “consultative no” when needed to protect customer outcomes.</li> <li>Ability to ramp quickly on new technologies in a high-growth, evolving environment.</li> <li>Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Adaptable to diverse customers, industries, and project teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end implementations of the Planful Financial Performance Management Suite, from design through go-live.</li> <li>Partner with customers to understand their financial processes and translate those requirements into effective, scalable Planful solutions.</li> <li>Guide customers toward best practices while thoughtfully challenging requirements that could limit long-term value or scalability.</li> <li>Ensure high-quality configuration, testing, validation, and rollout of the solution to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.</li> <li>Execute projects in alignment with Planful’s Services methodology, contributing to continuous improvement of delivery standards and tools.</li> <li>Manage scope, timelines, and risks to ensure predictable, on-time project delivery.</li> <li>Drive services performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, utilization, and project margin.</li> <li>Lead customer and partner enablement sessions, including training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation handoff.</li> <li>Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including finance leaders and senior executives.</li> <li>Serve as a cross-functional partner to Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.</li> <li>Support the Sales organization through solution scoping, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Proofs of Concept (POCs).</li> <li>Provide feedback from the field to inform product enhancements, services offerings, and customer experience initiatives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Planful&nbsp;</strong><br>Planful exists to enrich the world by helping our customers and our people achieve peak performance. Compensation decisions are based on each individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.</p> <p>The base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and location.
