About this role
Job Brief:
We are looking for a data-driven SEO Specialist to join our marketing team and own our organic search footprint. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities, including content strategy, link building, and technical site architecture to increase rankings across major search networks.
The ideal candidate lives in the data but speaks the language of the user. You should be able to turn complex analytics into actionable strategies that drive high-quality traffic and, ultimately, conversions.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization to identify high-value opportunities.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing (SEM) and organic rankings.
Technical SEO: Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code (e.g., site speed, schema markup, crawlability).
Content Collaboration: Direct the editorial team on SEO-friendly content creation and optimization of existing ''evergreen'' assets.
Link Building: Execute ''white-hat'' backlink strategies to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
Performance Tracking: Monitor daily performance metrics using tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs to understand SEO strategy performance.
Market Analysis: Keep pace with SEO, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
Skills Required:
Proven Experience: 2–4 years of experience in SEO or SEM with a track record of improving organic rankings.
Tool Mastery: Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and industry tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to distill ''big data'' into simple, meaningful insights for stakeholders.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; you can explain E-E-A-T and Core Web Vitals to someone who has never heard of them.
CMS Familiarity: Experience working with WordPress, Shopify, or similar content management systems.
