About this role

Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to support our school-based health services team. This part-time role, based in Hamilton, reports to the Services Manager – School Based Health and provides our amazing school nurses and doctors with essential administrative support.

 

Key responsibilities include providing day to day support of our clinicians, including team meetings and training events; providing set up and ongoing support with our IT systems and liaising with our key stakeholders.  Though the work will be predominantly with our team of nurses and school-based GPs, there may times where administrative support of our other Pinnacle services is required and some flexibility will be required in your role.

 

This role is fixed-term until December 2026, working 24 hours per week over the school term only.

  • A motivated self-starter who has experience in customer service, preferably with some previous exposure to the primary health care environment.
  • An individual who is able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
  • A culturally responsive and inclusive team member who is respectful of diverse beliefs, protocols, and practices and is committed to the principles of Tikanga Māori.
  • An individual who has a high level of integrity and has the ability to ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Someone who is passionate about providing quality health services that meet the needs of young people and their whānau.
