We have a part-time opportunity for a registered health professional, which may include a registered nurse, social worker, occupational therapist, counsellor, psychotherapist, or psychologist, who wants to be part of an innovative team providing holistic primary health and wellbeing support.
Health Improvement Practitioners (HIPs) work as members of primary care teams, to provide focused brief interventions for tangata experiencing mental and physical health and wellbeing challenges. We also support community and rural, marae-based clinics to provide improved hauora support, more choices, and improved access to health services for tangata whenua.
As a HIP, you will;
This dynamic role is fixed term working 32 hours per week and reports to the local HIP Lead and links into the broader extended care team.
