Depending on the level, you may bring:

  • Experience in construction safety, field operations, safety program support, or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence, coach, and encourage safe behavior
  • Curiosity, humility, and a desire to learn and grow in the safety profession
  • Professional certifications (CHST, OHST, CSP, TUV, etc.) — a plus, but not required for Specialist roles

Work Environment
These roles are field-based with regular travel to job sites across Wisconsin and surrounding areas. You’ll work outdoors, partner closely with project teams, and play a visible role in shaping our safety culture every day.

What You’ll Do
We are hiring for multiple levels, and responsibilities will vary based on experience.

Safety Specialists — Entry to Mid-Level
Support the development, coordination, and implementation of field safety programs.
You Will:

  • Visit jobsites to observe crews, support hazard recognition, and promote safe practices.
  • Assist with reviewing work environments and identifying potential hazards.
  • Support implementation of OSHA, state, and company safety standards.
  • Participate in accident investigations and assist with documentation and root cause analysis.
  • Respond to safety-related questions as a field resource.
  • Conduct new hire safety orientations and assist with on-the-job training (Aerial Lift, Forklift, etc.).
  • Help develop safety meeting topics and monthly field communications.
  • Support pre-construction safety planning and assist in developing site-specific plans.
  • Promote open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns.

Safety Managers — Experienced Safety Leaders
Lead and oversee safety programs across projects, departments, and branches.
You Will:

  • Champion a proactive, people-first safety culture across our organization.
  • Conduct regular jobsite assessments, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coach supervisors and field leadership on safe work practices and hazard recognition.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety program improvements.
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, workers’ compensation processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in operations meetings and support project planning and execution.
  • Mentor developing safety team members and contribute to long-term department growth.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and safety strategies

This role is ideal for experienced safety professionals ready to step into leadership, training, and program ownership responsibilities.
