This role leads audits for high-value accounts, ensures compliance with multi-state and special bureau regulations, and applies expert knowledge of NCCI systems and unique industry classifications.</p> <p>Additional responsibilities include mentoring and training team members, supporting process improvements, and contributing to strategic planning and policy development. The position requires strong analytical skills, effective multitasking, and a commitment to confidentiality and high performance standards.</p> <h3><strong>How You’ll Do It</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Conduct sophisticated premium audits across all platforms with focus on complex business structures and unusual operations.</li> <li>Handle audits involving multiple entities, complex contractor relationships, and intricate business arrangements.</li> <li>Analyze sophisticated payroll structures, profit-sharing arrangements, and complex employee benefit programs.</li> <li>Lead audits for high-value accounts and businesses with significant regulatory complexity.</li> <li>Provide expertise on unusual industry classifications and complex exposure scenarios.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with advanced regulatory requirements across multiple states and special bureaus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Expert Classification &amp; Regulatory Knowledge:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Apply advanced knowledge of NCCI systems, state bureau requirements, and special jurisdiction rules.</li> <li>Handle complex classification scenarios involving unusual business operations and emerging industries.</li> <li>Provide expertise on special bureaus (PA/DE, CA, NJ, NY) and unusual regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Research and resolve complex classification disputes and unusual exposure scenarios.</li> <li>Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging classification requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Advanced Insured Relationship Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead complex insured interactions involving sensitive business information and challenging personalities.</li> <li>Handle escalated concerns and difficult conversations about audit findings and business operations.</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with sophisticated business owners and financial teams.</li> <li>Serve as subject matter expert for challenging insured relationship scenarios.</li> <li>Coordinate with legal and compliance teams when necessary for complex audit situations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Virtual Audit Leadership &amp; Technology Innovation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Team Lead in implementation of advanced virtual audit technologies and methodologies.</li> <li>Develop and refine virtual audit procedures for complex business scenarios.</li> <li>Train junior auditors on virtual audit best practices and advanced technologies.</li> <li>Coordinate complex virtual audits involving multiple business locations and entities.</li> <li>Provide expertise on emerging audit technologies and their application.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training &amp; Mentorship Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mentor P3-level Premium Auditors and other team members on complex audit procedures.</li> <li>Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on advanced audit concepts.</li> <li>Provide guidance on complex business analysis and classification scenarios.</li> <li>Lead knowledge sharing sessions and best practice development.</li> <li>Support onboarding of new audit team members.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Strategic Process Development &amp; Compliance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all audit documentation meets regulatory standards and company policies.</li> <li>Complete audits within established timeframes while maintaining thoroughness.</li> <li>Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>The Right Stuff</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years conducting Workers Compensation premium audits with increasing complexity and responsibility.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of NCCI classification systems and state bureau requirements.</li> <li>Substantial experience with special bureaus: PA/DE, CA, NJ, NY required.</li> <li>Multi-state audit expertise and complex regulatory knowledge.</li> <li>Leadership or mentoring experience in audit or related financial analysis environments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Advanced Technical Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Expert understanding of complex business structures, payroll systems, and financial arrangements.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency with classification systems and specialized bureau requirements.</li> <li>Experience with sophisticated audit software systems and emerging technologies.</li> <li>Expert knowledge of contractor relationships, profit-sharing arrangements, and complex employee structures.</li> <li>Ability to analyze intricate business operations and sophisticated exposure scenarios.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Leadership &amp;
