To maintain accurate inventory, receive raw materials and product into ERP, issue appropriate materials to production, store and ship according to customer requirements and PCI procedures while maintaining compliance with Department of Homeland Security, OSHA, FDA and other certification agency requirements. To maintain a safe working environment, operate material handling equipment and follow all company GMP and safety rules. To ship orders complete, accurately and in a timely manner. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operates forklift, clamp truck and man lift in safe manner. Charge and water fork lift batteries;
Loads and unloads trailers for shipments and receipts;
Utilizes FR transactions for all receipts, movements and issues of raw materials and packaging components;
Utilizes RF transactions for all receipts, movements, staging and shipping of customer orders, warehouse transfers or customer returns;
Secures trailers with dock locks or wheel chocks before entering with a forklift. Removes or unlocks when loading/ unloading is complete;
Installs and removes dock plates, opens and closes dock doors and ensures they remain locked for security and safety reasons;
Labels, stretch wrap, stages and ships orders in compliance with customer requirements and PCI procedures;
Repacks cartons as needed;
Cycles count machine locations each sift;
Receives railcars into the RF system, unloads railcar resin into appropriate silos and notifies Supervisor of issues or shortages;
Receives and unloads resin containers, pumps container resin into appropriate silo.
Notifies railroad (BNSF) of required changes in railcar line-up on siding;
Performs RTI’s for color, liner and WIP caps returned to the warehouse from production;
Loads and unloads shuttle trailers and trailers to outside warehouses and other PCI facilities using appropriate transactions;
Prepares weekly inventory report for Purchasing;
Prints ship sets, bills of lading and labels;
Calls designated carriers providing them with appropriate shipment information;
Shipping Logistics;
Obtains control numbers for and perform RMA’s and PO receipts;
Responds to telephone queries, receive and send fax information;
Takes part in fiscal year-end inventory audit preparation.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures;
Responsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures and work instructions.
Performs duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Minimum High School education or equivalent; computer experience; fork lift certification required, good verbal and written English skills, good reading comprehension and basic math skills.
