A Peek Into Your Diggiddy Doggy Daycare Day
- Animal Supervision & Husbandry - Ensure all enclosures are clean and well-maintained, with a constant supply of fresh water
- Animal Welfare - Monitor dog interactions to prevent distress or injury caused by other dogs, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all dogs
- Providing outstanding customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions. Welcome clients at the door and ensure a smooth handover by safely transferring dogs to the appropriate play enclosure
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and the team
- Prepare play enclosures to accommodate the number and needs of dogs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained
- Clear away animal waste, thoroughly clean, disinfect and look after animal play areas
- Bathe and groom animals
- Prepare meals, including special diets, safely transfer animals to feeding areas, and ensure adequate rest post meal
- Clean and prepare comfortable sleeping areas for animals
- Promptly report serious health problems to manager and adhere our OSH procedures and processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all animals in care
Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career?
- Experience in a similar role or working with animals is an advantageous but not essential
- Individuals who treat our canine clients ethically and with the utmost respect
- A love of animals, with strong commitment to your clients and Petstock
- A commitment to work safely & adhere to our health & safety policies
- Physically fit, with ability to lift products and animals up to 20kgs
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work conditions
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
- Strong attention to detail

What you'll do
- The Dog Daycare Attendant is responsible for supervising and caring for dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being while providing excellent customer service. This includes maintaining clean environments, monitoring dog interactions, and preparing meals for the animals.
