About this role

Location: This is an office-based role at our Stafford DC with potential occasional ad hoc travel and support across the business.

About the Role

As the Colleague Relations Assistant, your role in the team is to provide professional admin support and absence case management provision to the Operational team at our Stafford Fulfilment Centre. The purpose of the role is to manage the colleague relations inbox ensuring case allocation and timely response, manage and maintain the Colleague Relations Case Management system and provide focussed Colleague Relations absence support to the Site, whilst committed to delivering a high quality service that clearly demonstrates added value to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the colleague relations inbox ensuring case allocation and timely responses to emails.
  • Ability to understand when to take responsibility to resolve issues and when to escalate to Colleague Relations Advisor or Colleague Relations Lead.
  • Admin Tasks: electronic filling, scanning paperwork and shredding paperwork
  • Support hearings and meetings as note takers on occasions.
  • Create new and maintain all ER cases onto HEAT (Case management system) ensuring records are up to date and documented accurately in all ER activities.
  • Maintain the IDGA case trackers for warehouse and transport ensuring records are up to date and documented accurately.
  • Assist the management team with the absence management process sending welcome back to work interviews and attend the daily absence meetings.
  • Be responsible for managing the less complex cases (AWOLs and Probations) with support from Colleague Relations Advisors.
  • Maintain the occupational health referral process
  • Opportunity to be involved in project work as required
