The Brand Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Category Management team, including the Director of Category Management, as well as Category Manager, in their joint effort to ensure successful alignment between Pet Food Experts’ Vendors and the Sales and Customer Experience teams, Purchasing, Marketing and Accounting Teams through open communication, cross-departmental collaboration, and teamwork.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, Hybrid schedule

What you will do:

• Work with the Director Of Category Management and/or the Category Manager and vendors to establish sales goals, promotional calendar and participation in monthly sales flyers, sales blitzes, and customer appreciation events.
• Work cohesively with the Category Management Team(s), which consists of the Director of Category Management, Category Manager(s), Sales and Customer Experience Teams, Vendor Billing Specialist(s), Marketing Coordinator(s), Brand Coordinators, and Purchasing Team Buyers.
• Effectively communicate with both the Category Management team, Vendor, and Purchasing on new product launches, item setup information, item maintenance and pricing information and other related questions or issues.
• Collaborate with the design team to create and manage promotional sell sheets for new items, monthly promotions, and Initial Stocking Offers (ISO).
• Coordinate promotional activity, and ensure deadlines are met, with vendors for PFEXPOs and national trade shows.
• Use data and appropriate metrics to provide brand-specific performance analysis, for both internal and external use.
• Represent Pet Food Experts at national tradeshows and company events.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 30%
• 2-4 year College degree, preferred
• Minimum 2 years' purchasing and/or sales or marketing experience
• Consumer Goods Products/Pet Industry experience, preferred
