The salary range for this role is $137,520.00 to $171,900.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

The Senior Director of the Walkerville Production Site leads one of our most critical manufacturing operations, shaping the performance, culture, and long‑term success of the facility. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability while empowering teams to reach their highest potential. You will guide strategic decision‑making, champion innovation, and ensure the site operates with agility and precision in a fast‑evolving environment. What you’ll do

  • Lead daily operations for the Walkerville Production Site, ensuring excellence in manufacturing, production planning, logistics, engineering, and performance improvement.
  • Establish and deliver annual operating, financial, and sustainability targets, partnering closely with site leadership to drive measurable results.
  • Build and develop high‑performing teams by coaching managers and supervisors, strengthening collaboration, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement strategies that optimize materials, labor, equipment, and capacity to meet production and customer service commitments.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, leveraging technology, automation, and digitization to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards—including Occupational Health and Safety requirements and ISO certifications—while driving timely corrective actions.
  • Lead change initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, support Union partnership, and advance Pernod Ricard’s global sustainability objectives.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Sciences, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership, including direct responsibility for manufacturing or production environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in distillation or spirits manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, drive operational excellence, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, and performance.
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing practices to achieve sustainable business results.
  • Proven ability to lead change, build strong cross‑functional partnerships, and navigate complex organizational environments.
