The salary range for this role is $115,280.00 to $144,100.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

The Director of Bulk Sales and Contract Distillation plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our bulk spirits business by leading commercial strategy, cultivating high‑value partnerships, and expanding our global footprint. What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a multi‑year commercial strategy for bulk sales and contract distillation, with clear milestones and measurable outcomes within your first year.
  • Build and manage a robust domestic and international sales pipeline, expanding customer relationships through industry events, market insights, and proactive outreach.
  • Lead end‑to‑end contract management—including negotiation, execution, compliance, and performance tracking—to ensure accuracy, transparency, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner with operations to forecast demand, align production schedules, and translate customer requirements into actionable production plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels, revenue performance, and contract profitability, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, legal, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational alignment.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, facility visits, and customer engagements, ensuring a professional, inclusive, and brand‑forward presence.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in the spirits industry (including 5+ years in distillation operations, bulk sales, or related commercial roles).
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements, build strong customer relationships, and lead teams through change while fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and talent development.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail—precision is essential in distillation, contract management, and customer‑facing processes.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to guide operational decisions, evaluate contract profitability, and support long‑term business strategies.
  • Ability to travel and support customer needs, including occasional nights and weekends, and experience managing teams responsible for barrel procurement, bulk sales support, and customer service.
