ROLE PURPOSE

The Credit Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a healthy cash flow and effective credit risk management across all sales channels. This position is responsible for executing end-to-end credit control processes, driving timely and accurate reporting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function.

With a strong focus on analytical capability, stakeholder collaboration, and disciplined execution, the role contributes directly to sustainable business performance and customer financial governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor customer payment behaviors and expectations in line with market dynamics, ensuring alignment with Pernod Ricard Türkiye’s credit policies and business processes

  • Prepare customer-level financial analyses, including profitability insights, performance KPIs, DSO tracking, and Credit Control dashboards.
  • Manage end-to-end collection processes across all sales channels, ensuring systematic follow-up, accurate reporting, and timely escalation when needed.
  • Operate Credit Control operational processes; perform daily matching/clearing activities and ensure accuracy and integrity of records.
  • Track channel-based credit risks as well as guarantee and collateral structures; define and implement actions to reduce exposure.
  • Support distributor financial analysis processes; coordinate action plans with relevant internal stakeholders and follow up on execution.
  • Support Cash Management and Payment Systems operations, ensuring accurate and timely integration into financial systems.
  • Produce regular Credit Control reports, translating insights into concrete follow-up actions and business recommendations.
  • Actively contribute to process and system improvement initiatives within Credit Control and the wider Finance organisation.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS (SKILL-BASED PROFILE)

We are looking for a professional who demonstrates strong capability across the following areas:

Core Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills (formulas, pivots, financial analysis)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred); experience in digital transformation or system transition projects is a plus
  • Knowledge of BI and reporting tools is an asset

Professional Competencies

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail, with a disciplined and process-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across Finance and Commercial teams
  • Solution-driven approach with the ability to prioritize and act with ownership

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus)

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations
(FMCG experience is considered a strong advantage)
