Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

Your unique contribution

You will have these main areas of responsibility:

• The role of a Brand Home Hospitality Assistant is to be a facilitator of the brand home operations (tastings, stocks in the shop) to optimise the customer experience.

• Perform a vital support role within the Brand Home and therefore contribute to the overall success of providing an exceptional customer experience to trade and public visitors.

• Prepare and clear whisky tastings and experiences for our visitors, assist with catering and general housekeeping. You will work on a rota basis across a 7-day week, this includes weekends.

• Actively build relationships with colleagues in all departments to contribute to a convivial and positive working environment in which to welcome visitors.

• It is an essential requirement you have your own accommodation within commutable distance to Scapa, Orkney in Scotland.

Note these are fixed term contract roles lasting 3-7 months with intakes in March, May and June for example, but not limited to, mid-March until end October or early June until end August.

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll work with Scotland and Prestige Brand Home Teams, Global Brand Ambassadors, the Visits Coordinator, the Distillery, Warehousing and Engineering teams, Blending and Marketing teams and H&S advisors. Pernod Ricard affiliate guests from around the world.

Externally, your contacts will be our visitors, trade guests including HNWI, tour operators/guides and drivers, local business partners, suppliers and contractors.
