About this role
As an Accountant at PERGOLUX, you will take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, compliant reporting, and efficient month- and year-end closings. This role has a direct impact on the reliability of our financial data and supports informed business decisions as we continue to scale. What You’ll Do
Own full-scope accounting for assigned legal entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with German GAAP and internal standards.
Prepare and reconcile accounts, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, with a strong focus on data quality.
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and efficient close cycles.
Prepare VAT returns and other mandatory reports for German tax authorities.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting and Bookkeeper, aligning weekly on priorities and continuously improving accounting processes.
What You’ll Bring
At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in full accounting (not limited to a single sub-area).
IHK Bilanzbuchhalter certification or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Solid hands-on experience with account reconciliations, VAT reporting, and month-end closings.
A structured, fast-thinking mindset with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.
Clear and direct communication skills, paired with a target-driven and results-oriented attitude.
