Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep in the facilities with a focus on the electrical needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for building maintenance and facility requests for multiple locations.
Handles emergency calls for repairs.
Responsible for maintaining electrical equipment in good operating condition at all times.
Has knowledge of extensive electrical principles as they apply to such things as AC-DC circuitry and hardware, relays, switches and circuit breakers. Including:
Understanding of motors, disconnects, and contactors
Experience with 3-phase and Single-phase 120V/240V/480V circuitry
Strong skills in pipe bending and running
Solid skills with installing panels, breakers, receptacles, and related materials
Strong electrical problem-solving skills
Dedicated to ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Supportive for ensuring that all maintenance department staff follow safety procedures established to avoid injuries to self and others such as lock out devices, protective clothing, and waste disposal techniques.
Conduct facility walk-throughs on a regular basis at all locations to identify areas where maintenance is required.
Completes records and reports as required.
Provides excellence in customer service at all times to all internal and external customers.
Ensures all policies and procedures are followed.
Plan and manage short term and long-term projects.
Respond immediately to emergency maintenance request in the building.
Repair leaky faucets, toilets, dispensers and snake clogged plumbing when necessary.
Wall cleaning, painting, plaster and drywall when necessary.
Repair and replace doors and windows when necessary.
Has a basic understanding of general construction techniques.
Has a basic understanding of when permits may be required and regulations need to be checked before a project is started, especially related to electrical needs.
Operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools and equipment such as power saws, power sanders, drills, air compressors, paint sprayers, and various hand tools required for carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance skills.
Position is full-time and on-site.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree or Trade School Diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
5 to 10 years electrical experience and/or training required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Licensed Electrician preferred.

Pay Range:
$33.00 - $35.00*
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
