Job Description 

Job duties may include:

  • Assists welding craft in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial plant needs
  • Performs maintenance and repair work of a routine nature under the direct supervision of a Mechanical supervisor
  • Performs general maintenance tasks necessary to maintain facilities and performs general cleaning/housekeeping maintenance tasks
  • Performs preventive maintenance needs
  • On-the-job training offered  

This position is safety-sensitive. 

Requirements 

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Must have reliable transportation
