Job Description
PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Information Technology Department during the summer of 2026.
Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
This role is responsible for assisting with the following:
- Support the IT Security team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents
- Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures
- Participate in security awareness training and initiatives
- Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
- Document and maintain records of security incidents, configurations, and network diagrams
- Assist with regular system backups and disaster recovery planning
- Support in managing and updating security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Research emerging threats and contribute to implementing countermeasures
Hourly Pay: $22 an hour
Basic Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study
- Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
- Displays excellent customer service skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask

- Local to the KC Metro Area
