Main purpose of the role
For our Global R&D team, we are looking for a new resource in the Sensory & Consumer Science department.
This position represents the voice of the consumer within the organization.
This role will assist in conducting and analyzing consumer research, supporting the integration of consumer insights into business strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Assist in the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gather consumer insights;
- Consistently provide the consumer voice and perspective in project meetings and interactions with cross functional teams;
- Provide advice and recommendation to R&D, Marketing, Regulatory for topics related to Sensory and Consumer (e.g., sensory claims);
- Support the analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends, preferences, and behaviors;
- Aid in identification opportunities for new product development and enhancements based on consumer feedback;
- Maintain relationships with consumer testing suppliers to stay up to date on the newest methodologies and innovative ways to answer business questions;
- Assist in the development of comprehensive reports and present research findings and recommendations to product and process developers, marketeers and other project partners;
- Assist in facilitation of consumer testing to identify gold standard production in all product categories.
Our Perfect Candidate
- Degree in Food Science and Technology or related fields;
- Deep knowledge of Sensory and Consumer Science, with minimum 4 years of experience;
- Excellent statistical analysis skills with proven data interpretation knowledge;
- Experience in food industry and working with product development cross functional teams;
- Professional English;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to address multiple priorities and bring work to a closure;
- Pro-activity and flexibility.
