Junior Area Manager Export CEE
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Contract: Fixed-term, 1 year (be extended accordingly)
Travel: Moderate (10–25%)
Team: Sales – Export Europe
Management Scope: Individual Contributor
Where we need you
As Junior Area Manager Export CEE, you will support the overall business strategy across the CEE and selected Export Europe markets. Acting as a key sparring partner to internal and external stakeholders, you’ll contribute to achieving sales and marketing objectives in line with Perfetti Van Melle guidelines.
This role has a strong commercial focus on sales and marketing, while working closely with Product Development, Portfolio Management, Customer Service, Finance, Group Marketing, and Export teams based in the Netherlands.
Your core responsibilities at a glance
Sales Support
- Collect and analyze customers’ in-market sales and stock data
- Verify and assess customer sales forecasts
- Gather market insights, monitor pricing, and track market trends
- Support resolution of delivery issues and customer complaints
Marketing Support
- Prepare brand presentations and marketing materials
- Support the Brand Manager CEE in planning and implementing tailor-made activities
- Coordinate new product launches, ensuring complete information packages for customers
- Monitor and track marketing and trade spend
POSM Management
- Liaise with Brand Marketing and Trademarketing Export on POSM development, production, and delivery
Product Management
- Cooperate closely with the Packaging Coordinator Export during NPD processes, including label text revisions (CEE-focused)
- Prepare product sheets and technical documentation for customers
Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Participate in cross-regional projects within Export Europe

The ideal recipe for our new Junior Area Manager Export CEE
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in export, sales, or marketing (preferably FMCG / A-brand manufacturer)
- Strong business acumen and ability to read and understand P&L statements
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels
- Strategic mindset with a pragmatic and flexible approach
- Team player with strong self-awareness and drive for innovation
Tools & Languages
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP S/4 or ERP systems is a plus
- Fluent English plus a local CEE language
