
We are seeking an Expert-level Test Systems Engineer to lead and execute application, system, and integration testing across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and mission-ready GEOINT capabilities.
You’ll work at the intersection of engineering leadership, DevOps, and large-scale system integration, guiding teams through rigorous test and evaluation activities in complex, multi-environment architectures.
Lead and mentor senior-, mid-, and junior-level engineers conducting test and evaluation across NSG, ASG, and Federal systems
Oversee application and API testing within DevOps pipelines, ensuring compliance with government standards and industry best practices
Direct independent integration testing of system software and hardware to validate compliance with defined requirements
Plan, execute, and optimize manual test cases and automated test scripts using modern scripting and programming languages
Lead root-cause analysis and technical investigations for defects identified during testing activities
Partner with stakeholders to ensure testing strategies align with mission and operational needs
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
Equivalent experience accepted: 4 additional years with no degree or 2 additional years with a non-STEM degree
18+ years of systems integration experience supporting large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on-prem, or hybrid infrastructures
Experience using test management and defect tracking tools
Strong background in traditional, Agile, and DevOps development methodologies and associated testing strategies
Working knowledge of modern software development frameworks
Prior experience supporting IC or DoD programs
Prior experience supporting NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field
Experience with tools and technologies such as JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub/GitLab, or equivalent
Proficiency with Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, and API testing
Experience working in AWS and C2S environments
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts, processes, tools, and languages
