PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Front Line Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all plant equipment. This is a critical leadership role that supports continuous production and drives improvement initiatives across our operations.

Job Overview:

 

You will lead and manage the Monday-to-Friday trades teams to ensure all maintenance activities are performed in a timely and professional manner. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll minimize equipment failures and maximize plant availability, consistent with the objectives of the maintenance department and the site. Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams will be essential to support operational goals


Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage teams of maintenance technicians and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and external resources as required.
  • Support management of maintenance budgets and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Assist with capital and other engineering projects.

Qualifications

About you:

    • Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician, or Engineering Degree
    • Proven experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
    • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Interpersonal skills that foster trust, cooperation, and team support.
