About this role

Overview

This role will support the Experience Consumer Research team located in India Capability Center (ICC) to ensure exceptional Data is provided in support of Sensory Consumer Experience. This role will analyze data for Consumer Research studies, and coordinate with in-market EMESA, APAC & IB employees, to develop clear plans for projects to be completed on-time, in-full and on-budget with proper quality controls in place.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with key program lead and Programmer to analyze the results for each Consumer research study, while ensuring best practices.
  • Leverage existing global EXP Consumer Research Transformation and Data Science & Analytics SOP’s.
  • Seamlessly work across EyeQuestion Analysis programs, Harmoni, and XL Stat to analyze results and generate result summary tables for the Reporters.
  • Based on research method, apply the appropriate analysis procedure (ANOVA, paired T-Test, Tukey’s HSD, Cochran’s Q test, mean drop penalty analysis, etc.).
  • Assess quality of data via various SOP’s and identify consumer outliers.
  • Share data analysis outcome with Program Manager and Reporter. Provide revisions and additional builds as requested by EXP category scientist and/or Program Manager.
  • Partner closely with Program Manager, Programmer, and Reporter to identify new methods and processes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Work visibly & transparently in Microsoft Teams and other office 365 tools.

Qualifications

  • BS in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Data Science, Sensory science, Statistics).
  • 5-6yrs experience in quantitative consumer research, designs/ systems
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis programs
  • Ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information.
  • Systems: EyeQuestion, PowerBI, XLStat, Harmoni (reporting), LabVantage, O365
  • Ability to rapidly learn computer applications/programs & navigate systems.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone, external and internal to PepsiCo, managing with other support group functions, etc.)
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Fluent in English
  • Takes initiative on assigned tasks and accountabilities with minimal supervision.
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
  • Attention to detail.
