JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for a part-time teaching assistant for MIS 479W to start during the spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate may expect an average of 20 hours of work per week throughout the regular academic calendar.

Job Duties

  • Hold office hours 2 hours per week
  • Grading assignments utilizing detailed guidelines from supervisor
  • Grading exams in collaboration with supervisor
  • Attending class on lab days to help students with lab work
  • Assisting supervisor with class during out-of-office periods

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Successful completion of MIS 479W at Penn State

Compensation

The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
